Just putting a different soundtrack over the original soundtrack for the anime doesn't really count as an "AMV"... an AMV is usually a song paired with clips from an anime. The clips are usually arranged to the music, to fit the lyrics, to create a mood, etc. This is just scenes from the anime playing out in their entirety with their original audio and a song in the background, not even at full volume...

agreed. Also, Most AMVs only use a single song. Another defining characteristic of a AMV is its sync / its relation to the song's lyrics, beat, and mood.
