1:1 With a catch

The catch:

You MUST FIRST give a random opinion to someone else, using the random video button

RULES:
1) The video must be from anytime between 2008-Now. Reasons for this would be that giving an editor a critique on a very old video might not help them improve as they may have already done so on their own.

2) The video CANNOT already have more than one opinion. If you are leaving the second opinion that is fine.


3) Only AFTER you have left the opinion, post in this thread the vid ID of the vid you oped along with the one you would like me to leave an opinion on.

I may opt to do more later depending on my availability. I hope to get opinions for people who aren't forum regulars to help include them more in the site. I also think it's a shame no one gives people random opinions anymore. I urge anyone who participates not to simply click the button until they get a video from a well known editor or one they want to see. Try to give feedback to those who hardly get it, or to those who would benefit most from your advice. We might not be able to force more activity on the forums but we can try to include the non participators in the site more.

Sorry, I'm not trolling this thread but I wanted to say I love this idea! Was this random video button available before this thread? If not, make it a sticky.

I don't need any ops since, I don't edit anymore but I just downloaded two random vids to op tonight. Kinda adds a fun dimension to the op process.

For as long as I've been on the org It's been there but it's rather hidden. You need to go to the main page, -->Search for amvs-->All search options and the button is at the bottom. Before I ventured onto the forums this is how I ended up finding most of the vids I'd love and never would have seen otherwise.

I still go on the occasional editing spree. But being a forum poster (even if only occasionally) I've been able to get feedback on my own videos. I think it's important to try and include others in the site more, give people feedback who wouldn't otherwise receive it. While at the same time bringing some attention to videos no one would have seen because they weren't posted in announcements or here.
