Wireframe funnel made out of clips

Post by OtakuGray » Thu May 13, 2010 3:34 am

I had an idea for a funnel or tornado shaped space made out of moving clips. However, i dont have the patience to individually set each 3D layer like that. It would take WAY too long. :amv:

So i was thinking and...is there a way i can set a kind of wire-frame, that the clips can then just follow that? That way im organizing more than one clip of at least have a guideline for them to be set on? I've never done anything this complicated, so any possible ways to make this easier would be gladly accepted...thanks.

Then that guitar thingies popped up and went dun dun DUN dun then those box thingies went zooming by and twirling around and shit. Oh god, then the hexagons popped up and I was like 'I just got a stiffie'. Then there was the circle with those thingies going around and I blew my load.

Edit:

Okay kaream recommended attempting some kind of parenting technique, where i parent clips with particles.
Does anyone know if there is a good tutorial on that anywhere?
