What Is The Best Way To Create This Effect? (Gradient)

Postby memorylane19 » Tue Feb 02, 2010 5:10 pm

I know there are many ways to do it, but I've seen some people try to remake it, but sometimes it can look trashy.
What would be the best, and nicest-looking way to do it?
I only have sony vegas.. so yeah xD

Example-

I'm guessing it's a gradient effect of some sort, but yeah :nose:

For the most part that just looked like variations on a digital cross processing effect.

He changed the effect up sometimes, but it was all pretty much curves variations on that. There were a few scenes that appear to have a gradient overlay as well, for that just create a new layer, add and typical B to W gradient, and set the layer to 'overlay'. (it's in the track options on the left hand side of the screen.)
