Hello, could anyone please tell me how do we make a picture be blown into pieces as if an explosion ? i would like to add that effect on a work of mine ... you can see what i am talking about in this video:

At about 27 secs on this video, i would like to do that special effect on Adobe Premiere pro 4, how can i do it ? Thx very much!

First off, links to 'Tube don't work here. Check the rules.

Second, if you want the easy way out of it, Windows Movie Maker has a shatter transition effect.

Third, do it manually. Time consuming, but you'll have full control of it.

Manually? how can i do manually on adobe premiere pro 4 ? and thx very much for the reply :)

Cut a frame into seperate image pieces. Animate each image in the form of a 3D shatter.

There is also a plugIn from DebugMode: Wax
It gives you the possibility to make your own 3D shatter in an easy way.

After Effects can simply do this with the effect "Shatter". :|
