Best software for great titles

Post by Putas » Tue Feb 24, 2009 4:41 am

I am looking for a user friendly soft which could make great looking dynamic titles- moving, glowing, pumping, bombastic looking and such. To fit into action video, not just credits. Have some tips for me?

You could make graphics in a program such as photoshop/gimp and then simply import it into what ever editor you are using. If you are looking for straight up motion graphics then I would recommend using things like After Effects. Be warned however its not as simple as drag and drop. And if you want something truly unique and amazing looking it'll be near impossible to get them by "user friendly" means.

For simple looking graphics with excellent motion and effect controls AE is real good. All the text in Chronicles of Ghibli I did on AE... For fancy looking text with grading, textures, etc I would use Photoshop (as mentioned above) and then import that into AE for motion, visbility control
