What effect and how to?

Post by yunaheartilly » Sun Sep 07, 2008 7:48 pm

I have been seeing this effect in some amvs but particulary in Aerialsque's Efflorescent down (the beginning) Where she zooms over a set of pictures where occasionaly one turns into motion. Now my question is; is she using one frame where she just zooms in? I can't seem to figure out just how she goes it. Amazing effect though Image

The first thing that would come to my mind is doing it in AE. Basically, lay all your video/pictues out in a 3D space and pan/zoom the camera over them. That's just judging based off that picture, mind you. I haven't actually seen the video. I'm not 100% fluent in AE; I just know basics. Maybe some one else can go into more detail.
... yea ...

Before you can even think of such effects you will need to know the technical basics like how to save your video quality or your whole product will look like shit at the end.

So try this guide first:

It's pretty easy in AE PROVIDED you know how to use the program. If you'be never uesed it before you need to start with more simple stuff and get the basics down first.

And I quite agree, if you inport and export correctly in AE you'l get what your after, otherwise it might get fustrating

Yawn. It's video wall. It's old and boring as hell.
