I've been working on an amv for about a year, well i guess I've been postponing it for a while. I'm trying to do an effect where one clip is playing while another is playing at the same time in the background but the clip in the background is not as clear as the other clip playing. Does anyone know what program can do this? or how i can do this. I'm sorry if this is hard to understand. Many thanks

I don't know about other programs, but I know both Vegas and Premiere have options to lower opacity, which is what you are wanting to do.

you need to have a program that allows for overlays and opacity control.
