Hey all.
I'm wondering how one might go about cutting to a new scene with a different focal point, what are some effects or tricks I can use that'll lead the viewer's eye to the new focal point without disruption. Ideally, you use scenes that go together well, but what if you can't?

the "old school way" was to slightly blur things, like a targets set of rings
and let your eyes focus on the one thing in focus.
Now switch to the new scene and continue.
? The next scene can be focused to the new location if done the same way ??? in reverse.
