Zooming in and out effect (Xmen Destiny)

Zooming in and out effect (Xmen Destiny)

How do I do the zooming in effect and out like in this trailer?


Oh yeah, I am using Sony Vegas....

PS: havent been doing serious editing for quite a while...

you zoom in... and then... you zoom out. It's not really an effect they are doing, it's they way they created their comp. All they are doing is changing the Z axis of the camera and moving it towards the silhouette then fading in the next comp with a little bit of feather around the edge... repeat... then do it in reverse.

Not really sure how effective it would be to do it in Vegas. But the same concept of zooming in and fading in the next scene would produce the same similar, albeit not as good, result.
