Need some help with Image Matte Key

Post by CorpseGoddess » Thu Mar 03, 2011 1:14 am

Okay, a general question that may lead to more questions...

Can you only use an image with "sharp" edges for the matte? For example, if I wanted to use a heart, could I only use a heart shape that had a very definitive outline as opposed to one that was fuzzed-out or blurred?

Matte feathering is what you're looking for.

Oooh. Okay, I need to go find that. I'm using Premiere Pro CS3...do you happen to know if that's in there somewhere? I'm at work now, but I'll start hunting for it as soon as I get home.

Edit: Problem solved. Luckily, I have a patient husband who's better with Photoshop than I am.

Thanks for the assist, Requiett.
