So i've been working on amvs now for like 4 years and i wanna get better
in this video

how do i do that? i've heard you use chroma keyer but i've tried.?.but failed
help?

It's called masking.
If you're a Vegas user, you can find it at event pan/crop. Select masking (i think it is called that way there?) and start clicking around. Then redo that for every single frame if fast movement, or just to the next frame the character moves. Something like this.

You mask them. Chroma only really works if the character's original background is one solid color.
