You would nominate the video that stole it's audio, and not the original that is clearly awesome?...for shame. :nono:

Original must be nominated for it's pure awsmness.

The song promises me Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori. Not a image of its lie. I watched the original and was disappointed. We've got national socialists, where's my ideological giants and their armies clashing. Where's the sense of grandeur? The notion that these people represented are moving the world on a epic scale rarely seen? The video is portrayed not through the eyes of the fresh recruit who believes in the coming of the third Reich, but through the eyes fo a veteran who's been in individual clashes and has seen what they truly bring.

When this is lacking, the animation can help reflect this, but the quality of the original, with a few exceptions is just your regular anime, not a high quality production all the way through. This video makes slight reference to epic grandeur, but mostly its just the animation style. The same video wouldn't work with the old hellsing as far as I'm concerned, unless you took time to filter it.

The editing of both video's has no bearing, both are well done.

wow, you looked into that way too much. lol

I was just saying that I think the video with the orignal source is awesome. I wasn't saying that the other wasn't, I wasn't saying one was better than the other. I was just saying in my view, the original should have been nominated AS WELL. Not that the other shouldn't have.
I wasn't looking for some kind of debate or deep thought discussion here....and I'm still not. :p

I'm contemplating nominating this for Vid of the Year, but I think maybe it would be useless, and I haven't seen enough to justify it. Of all the ACTION videos I've seen, however, this one defintely gets my vote.

That is seriously getting no love!

Though I guess only Xenosaga fans will devour this, I guess.
