StarCraft II Discussion

Postby Garylisk » Fri Apr 23, 2010 5:04 am

This thread was originally about the StarCraft II Beta. Now that the game is out, I renamed it.

I never really cared much for SC - or, well, the multiplayer side of it anyway.

Korea killed any desire I had to continue playing StarCraft.

I love how this thread quickly filled up with people NOT interested in playing. LOLtastic.

Been playing the cracked beta for months now. Not sure if I'll go to the official one or not >_>

I am purchasing this when it comes out, even if my laptop isn't capable of playing it.

I thought I heard that the requirements were really light. Like there are no intense graphical improvements, if you can run the latest expansion than your good to go? is that true?

Visually, the game looks REALLY different. There is HD support and such. Still, there's a lot of customization in that can be done to the settings so just check out the minimum requirements and see what goes. In terms of modern gaming, you can go pretty light with it.

I've already started playing a few other Org people. My SC2 b.net name is LittleAtari.amv

My friend runs it on his laptop, which is 1.8GHz dual core processor, 2GB ram, GeForce 7600 mobile. Not exactly top of the line specs, runs fine in low detail.
