Susan Boyle

Postby Sukunai » Sat Apr 18, 2009 9:52 am

Hey seeing as we all love videos here, I thought I would see if anyone has missed this one.

Just basically search on Yourtube under Susan Boyle.

Or type this string in, Susan Boyle - Singer - Britains Got Talent 2009 (With Lyrics).

Never have I seen a person on a talent hunt show, get such a poor reception, only to totally make the entire crowd eat crow collectively.

Hmm, I've always seen that line in Ying's sig, but havent had access to the donator's forum until now.

For the record, I'm a Muslim women from a conservative family. I wear the headscarf and all that stuff. I must say not once have I been abused

Unless you count the times that I was attending a private Muslim high school here in chicago, in which the boys there never seemed to let me sit on the floor. Every time I'd sit on the floor to like relax or maybe eat something real quick, some boy who passed by always felt the need to bring me a freaking chair. I would say, "I'm fine." Two minutes later, he'd come back with a chair. It's like they never stopped to think that maybe I wanted to sit on the freakin floor. Those damn abusive Muslim men.

In other words, you fail.

If you want to talk about the Mid-East though, well, I actually lived there for a year in 5th grade. 90% of the cartoons on television were anime. It was awesome :ying: It's what got me into anime.

Sad to say, the very first thought that popped in my mind was an image of a female cosplaying one of the fanservice characters with big titties and very few clothes. While wearing a hijab/khimar. Perhaps that's where the entire Shia/Sunni difference comes from. Forget all this crap about if the leader should be elected or inherited within the family, the fighting boils down to Shia like cosplaying as Mikuru while Sunni prefer Sailor Moon.

I'd continue but I'm probably in danger of Sukunai giving me life threatening injuries for disrespecting a womans religion.

Because it beats talking about some random singer who's sole claim to fame at the moment is to make fat, ugly, old women feel less bitter about being fat, ugly, or old. I mean what can you really say about the supposed thread topic? 'Nice voice, as long as I hear it on the radio and don't actually have to look at her'?

Besides, 20 year old women in skimpy costumes with their titties hanging out and wearing a hajib. You can't tell me you wouldn't laugh if you saw that.

Hmm considering all the following replies, I guess it's not worth more than a "and you can go fuck yourself too" reply to Beowolf.
Not sure how he connected the dots in his comment. But then I am not sure Beowolf can connect dots either.

Yeah the woman isn't 'pretty', but I suppose she's better company than some of you examples of humanity.

He doesn't need to; dots are Decoy's department.
