I thank everyone for the either very touching, informative or lighthearted responses.

One thing that effected me the most was this.

Immerse yourself in it slowly and allow your natural curiosities and passions to guide you.

That is by far the best quote i have heard in a long time.

I believe that that single quote if i hold it in my mind will allow me to do exactly what i want to do.

Because if i look back at every single passion i have in life. it has been a "self pursued" interest. and amv making is one of them.

i thank you from the bottom of my heart for this. although that sounds cheesy i really mean it. words cannot describe what it felt like when i read that line.

i guess it felt like the world fell off my shoulders. and that today was not end. that its ok for me to sit back and breath for a second.

i know it all sounds very cornball and i never thought i would find myself in this position. but sometimes you take a look around and you realize just how deep you are in. and sometimes a small amount of help is just what you need.
Close calls are always the most exciting. Coming close is always the most dissapointing.

I was lucky to get a job on a pirate ship once
but they caught stashing some gold and made me walk the plank.
It happened on my first day ~_~
Yeah. Sorry we had to do that.

I thought for a minute there you were going to say that you wanted to put on a cape and...

Seriously,

do what you love. do it good. do it better than anyone else, and

the money will follow.

personally, I know that my niche is somewhere in the media category. I can write, edit audio and video, I'm very creative, I have an artsy side and a few other attributes that tell me that's prob where i'll be happiest career wise.
I've done a ton of jobs and few of them were something I'd really consider doing for the rest of my life. Lets see ...
Dishwasher
Cook (at two restaurants)
Sous Chef
Worked in a day care center
Worked at a carnival
Janitor at parrot refuge
Film festival organizer
Soup kitchen
Landscaping
Security guard
Wrote a bi-monthly new paper for a volunteer company
I think there was more but i can't remember ...
....I've done all that, and I'm only 20 0-0;
Like the others said, with the right experience and education, you can make a career out of just about anything ... but no 90 year old strippers, please.

The OP is not a donator and thus can no longer see this thread... >__>

EDIT: I PM'd him about what happened in case he was confused, and he was fine with everything. So, thread locked now.

Yah... That's what I was thinking.. Kind of sucks he can't see it since he was being really serious and there is no reason to hate on him, but whatever.
