Why so serious?

Now this is what I'm talking about folks!!!

Yeah sure Iron Man had Robert Downey Jr in it, but the movie was unbelievable...
The Hulk had potential, but was boring as hell...

But this movie...WOW!!!
So I spent $80 worth of midnight tickets for a bunch of friends last night, so you could say that I was putting this movie on the HIGH HIGH HIGH expectation list. But I'm glad to say I was not disappointed.

This movie downright kicks ass!
This is the best movie of the year so far! And quite frankly, it's 1 out of 2 movies that I've liked so far this year.

SPOILER ALERT wrote:My complaints for the film is first of all, the movie is way way too long. To tell you in honest truth, the Two-Face story feels like it belongs in a different movie. Another complaint that I have is that the ending just downright sucks! I honestly didn't get why Batman is now a fugitive because Gordan says, "He's a Hero, and that's why we have to hunt him." And besides, the ending just dragged on and on like a dead cat. It's probably one of the most un-climatic superhero endings.

Wow! You really seemed to enjoy this movie hehe. I must admit I am rarely excited about going to see a movie but this movie has definitely caught my interest. I hope to see it next week, I am sure it will not disappoint! :D

Hellboy 2 was perfect.

Batman was easily 2x perfect.

Man that's two films I actually enjoyed paying to see in a theater. I think they might revoke my pirate's license if I keep this up :)

I enjoyed the "Magic Trick" The Joker performed. though I wonder if there would be a 3rd one and if it would open just as popular as this one without using The Dead Actor as a gimmick.
And I was a little upset Two-Face died. I would have liked to have seen him in another movie. Kinda ironic though. O.o
But overall, I thought it was awesome. And I too, loved the "magic trick"

Christian Bale still tries too hard with the batman voice.

I'M WARGARRBL

The movie was pretty kick ass, but something felt lacking for me ... I dunno for me it was missing something that would have made it epicly awesome.

Of course I haven't seen a movie that has given me that HOLY SHIT THIS WAS A GOOD MOVIE for at least a couple of years.

perhaps it was the ending.

So...

Which bad guy is next? My bets on the Minstrel. Dude would sing at bad man whilst playing a lute a MOTHERFUCKING LUTE(possibly filled with crazy purple knockout gas) How bad ass is that?
Uhh, I thought that made sense. He was taking the fall for Harvey so that Harvey wouldn't be tainted and thus all his convictions and good work nullified. They even outright say that prior to Batman leaving. There's nothing confusing about it.

We actually don't know that he died. In fact, I'm fairly sure he's not and in Arkham. Batman survived the fall (even got up just fine) and it wasn't that far of a drop. I imagine Harvey survived as well and it's being covered up. Comic book characters never die.
Overall I REALLY enjoyed it. I'd be willing to say it's my favorite Comic Movie of all time (and I'm a HUGE comic book nerd). The pacing was just awesome and the WHOLE movie is tense (no slowdowns at all).

Anyone have a pencil?

Anyways, I agree, Christian Bale just sounds like he's suffering from lung cancer whenever he talks as Batman.

As for villains, The Joker was my favorite, so as of right now, I have no preference on who's in the next movie. Although, I would like to have some original characters come back again, kind of like what they did with Batman Begins.
