The New Jedi Order Force Heretic I: Remnant - Interesting as the series always is, though the Solo twins are so emo I wanna scream.
Plato's Republic - I find the whole thing hilarious. :book:
God Emperor of Dune - Hopefully can make it past 10 pages this read through.

Ahh, that is one of my favorite Heinlein books. I am currently reading Paul Krugman's book "The Return of Depression Economics".

Not reading much atm, although I recently finished up David Eddings' sextet of "The Adventures of Sparhawk" (aka the Elenium and Tamuli trilogies), which tends to make fun of medieval worlds and theology (while also strangely appreciating them -- the climax of the Tamuli trilogy is a great example). A must-read for any medieval fantasy fan.

Moonshadow (comic) - One of those rather rare proofs that not all comics are for kids or people who are mostly illiterate and just look at the pictures

Shadows by Bob Woodard - How Watergate affected the presidents following Nixon, up to Clinton. Kinda boring actually, Woodard made his career with Watergate and all but there comes a point where you go 'good lord, it was 30 years ago, move on man'

Akira manga - Don't have all of it but what I do have is decent. Nothing surprising in the story because I've seen the anime many times but it's a lot more expanded and detail

Higurashi manga - I think this is next on my reading list. Hopefully the ending isn't as pathetic as season 2 of the anime made it.

Decided to pick up A Briefer History of Time. It's like a clarified and updated version of A Brief History of Time. Good read so far, but fucking expensive. 28 bucks for a paperback and it's only like 150 pages! bah

I finished Gone with the Wind today. Read it every summer, along with Lonesome Dove (that was the week prior). Also recently consumed Fevre Dream by George R.R. Martin (not his best, but not too bad - if you want to see Anne Rice get a run for her money, where Antebellum vampires are concerned, it's worth checking out). Next week is Roadmarks by Roger Zelazney, which might finally fall apart like the other two did with this round of reading.

After watching Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, I think I'll dig up my complete series book and re-read it again.

Stardust. Just recently finished She's Come Undone. Both are/were enjoyable, though Stardust is definitely the easier read.
