So I pooched a post obviously. Made a criminal error (apparently) and didn't fully realize who I was remarking to (it would seem).
All of which would not have happened if I actually knew the person.
Just curious, how many of the people on site, do you know in the for real sense of the word. And by that I mean, you've met, been able to actually shake hands.
Because I've found out how little merit there is in pretending to know someone, just on the basis of having known them only in the online connection sense of the word.
I've known some people for years through the internet, and discovered sometimes that is simply not good enough.
To my knowledge, not one person on this forum has ever met the real me, the person on the other side of the screen.
My only off site, real world exposure that might have permitted a meeting, has been the last 3 years of being to Anime North (Toronto Canada). If you've never been there (last 3 years), you've certainly never met me.
