I haven't seen it yet. But will ....sometime ...personally i loved the blair witch project. And godzilla. But yeah ...i can see it being a big headache with the combination of explosions/screaming and shakey cameras.

The best thing about the movie was the point of view. You're viewing the events through the eyes of the survivors, who in turn interact with the scene around them. This effect pulls the viewer in, and includes them in the scene as if they were there.

I kept thinking that this was a lot like Half-Life, in which you're seeing everything go down through the eyes of a survivor in the midst of a maelstrom of bad things.

In any case, I liked the movie. It keeps you in suspense and the unique approach is well executed.

It was pretty alright. I wanted to punch the camera man in the face so badly though. Like, just, shut up already.

Dude, where you like in the theater... alone? I went the first day it came out.. and that guy kept making everyone crack up.. guess you don't have a good sense of humor :wink:
