I can beat it on Medium and I haven't tried on any other setting. I'm still stuck on the final boss battle on Hard and have been for like a month T_T.

Took me a week to beat One on Hard and now this...T_T

At least Cliffs of Dover is like the best GH song EVER. SRSLY.

Yeah I really fucking dig Cliffs of Dover.
I've been practicing medium on and off since I poasted and I can get about 2/3 through before "YOU SUCK KILL YOURSELF". Maybe by tomorrow I'll have it nailed.

No kidding. I'm still wondering where the Satriani is, though. I mean... Satch is better known than Eric Johnson as a shred maniac.

I say we just make this the official "discuss guitar hero" topic <.<

I realize that GHIII isn't regarding as the best of the series (or highly regarded by 'purists"), but seriously that song has probably been the most fun thing I've played in ANY genre or game the entire year (next to maybe Portal). I can replay it OVER and OVER and OVER and not be sick of it. Song was made for GH :).

To keep things in line, what's your favorite song?

Besides Cliffs of Dover probably Sweet Child of Mine, but that's not being very creative on my part b/c seriously...who doesn't like that song?

My favorite beyond well, I like Number of the Beast and Hanger 18 a bit more than I like Cliffs of Dover, personally. As far as songs that I've played the most, probably Sweet Child. It's fun and relatively easy once you get the hang of it.

Actually "Impulse" by An Endless Sporadic, one of the bonus songs in GH3, is becoming one of my favorite GH songs. Otherwise, I dunno, there are lots of songs I love to play.

And, yeah, Sweet Child is fun. I've gotten 100% on that on Expert. I was happy.

Protip: these are the good ones.

Story of My Life
My Name is Jonas
Even Flow
Cherub Rock
3's & 7's
Knights of Cydonia
Cliffs of Dover

The rest suck, with a few exceptions.

Protip: your taste is music is shit. no, seriously. I mean... My Name is Jonas? 3's & 7's? STORY OF MY LIFE?! WHAT THE FUCK!? Those songs are terrible. A monkey could've written (and played/sung) them, and I bet the monkey would've done a better job. Except for Cliffs of Dover and Knights of Cydonia, that list might as well be called "The worst songs in this game". It's called GUITAR Hero. Not shitty punk musician hero. I have to wonder what the fuck you're smoking.

Nerdrage over.

Flint: Yeah, dude, that song is pretty bad ass. The only thing I don't like about it is the guitar tone on some spots. Otherwise, it's just a cool, well written piece.

Yeah, Pearl Jam is shitty. They're almost as over rated as Nirvana.

And Alt Rock has heavy punk influences (boring song structures, three chord riffs, barnyard warbling vocalists, etc). That song is fucking irritating, in particular.

(And yes, I got the sarcasm in your post).
