My parents hate trick or treaters so we don't even give them a chance...

But look at it this way... more candy for you guys in the end.

What's with the lack of trick-or-treaters this year? It's a bit depressing, though I guess living in a university town makes it worse...

On another note, a few people went door to door last night giving people cupcakes and candy.

I dressed up as an artsy person who decided to go and buy paint supplies at an art store. I'm cool.

the lack of trick or treaters wasn't anything new for me, I live in an apartment complex but apparently the kids didn't go to every door (especially the ones with a sign declaring that "we has teh candies") because I heard a couple out there and I was tempted to scream that we had candy, but I thought it would be rude to those people who like to sleep at such times.

My dorm does a local "safe-zone" trick-or-treating thing for children in the area. It's a rough neighborhood (with a very bad rep) around here, so it's good for the kids to have some place to go. That said, all of my roommates and i had to study for exams and the sounds of screaming children got old after a few hours (we were the "scare you shitless" hallway).
