Loli AMVs
Ok, this may raise some controversy, but the sites movin kind of slow so maybe that will help.
I want to know peoples opinions on lolita amvs. I don't just mean like, i think good or bad. I want some in depth opinions and views.
In our society, we frown upon that sort of thing, to a point that it is illegal. Technically, you can get arrested for watching a loli amv if it's too graphic. Could loli amvs be a outlet for something? Is it just us fooling around? I don't really know myself, i think nothing really of lolita amvs. I'm not for them or against them. I've seen more then a few. Some i enjoyed, some just sucked. I've found a few a bit sexy(ish) but for the most part it's not my thing.
So your turn, views, thoughts?
PS: I'll understand if this gets locked or moved the the OT forums.

was well made, but that kind of stuff isn't probably the type of stuff that is seen as controversial or whatever. I can only imagine that there are Loli amvs out there that are more or less like HMVs... cept Loli, which are the kind of video one could be arrested for if viewing in public or whatever.

Re: Loli AMVs
It may be illegal for you up there in Canada (and I think parts of Northern Europe have similar laws), but not here in the U.S. - Just want to clarify for people that'll see your statement and scratch their heads. In the U.S. the anti-child porn laws only ban items that involved a child in their creation (else someone could just use a find edges or trace effect on real stuff and claim it was art) - other countries (like Canada) ban anything pedos find erotic as a moral/legal statement against them.guy07 wrote:In our society, we frown upon that sort of thing, to a point that it is illegal.

"how far is too far?"
is it illegal for "fake children" or drawings to interact with each other on an adult level, or are we talking just the adult and child scenario? (I assume we are NOT talking about actual child pornography, but drawings and animations - "a victimless crime")
Also, are we just pinpointing adults enjoying watching such a thing? what if a child were to enjoy watching other children in "adult scenarios"? but then again you "have to be 18" (in general) to legally obtain such materials.
Then theres the ever present problem of are all "lolis" actually considered "children" - you also have to take into consideration that with the "anime/manga art style" that some characters may appear to be a certain age and yet come to find out the character is actually MUCH older than what he/she appears. (Honey from Ouran High School Host Club comes to mind, as he looks (and acts at times) about 5 but is actually the oldest member of the club at 17-18)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
as for the topic at hand, I'm neither for or against the idea (as long as no REAL children are being hurt, or photographed, filmed, or forced to do such acts) as long as the idea behind it is just a fantasy and isn't actually acted out upon.
I kinda put them in the same category as videos that portray Rape.
as we all know rape is just about as much of a joke as child porn (which is considered a form of rape anyways)
Most of the videos I've seen of both categories have been "humor pieces" where they make a farce of what most people would consider a serious subject.
I don't think it really says anything about the editor, but that would also depend on the intention of the video..
at Bashar: yah.. i live in america to, I was just under the impression that that was the case. I've been corrected.
Guy: I really don't care, to be honest. I just answered this topic because I'm bored and felt like trying to prove I know what I'm talking about on a topic where I have close to no Idea about, As previously proven by Bashar.
