some of you in #amv already know the story.
i give my final presentation on wednesday. some students do videos, but nothing visually impressive. just imovie usually.
this is a graphic design class. we barely touch on video at all. it's more of an option if we have time.
i don't really remember how this idea got started, but this is pretty much what i'm doing:
i'm going to make a really really shitty FX video, show it during my presentation, and see if they think it's awesome or total crap. lensflares, ayato, particular presets, shine, ect.
will people not involved with video at all be blown away by this crap, just because it looks like it was hard to do or it looks shiny?
or being graphic artists, will they have an eye for design, and know that these FX don't contribute to the video in any positive way.
students give critiques after presentations here, and i'll be sure to ask other students individually what they though of the video afterwards.
then i'll post how they reacted to the video here.

i'm also open to requests for easter eggs and suggestions for cheesy effects
