Well, i use vegas for both audio and video editing, works fine for me (though i use EJay Dance 5 to create/mix the songs) : /
Don't let him get it, be like "bitch, use what you have!" then rant about how much money he spends on pointless stuff, nagging always works  ...On me anyways

I like your instrumentals...but it sounds like you put your voice through a washing machine. If you wanna do screamo stuff, great, but why synthesize the crap out of your voice?

I don't think you realize that's just how Alex's voice sounds.

He is German, after all.

I also laugh at your impudence at calling Alex's vocals "Screamo". Screamo is whiney. Alex's voice crushes small children in its spare time.

ALL HAIL METAL!

(haha, some of this post was really cheesy)

Also, there aren't any synthesizers. Granted, there's some background stuff, but that's not synthesized.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

I actually liked the vocals quite a bit (in their own special way) - perhaps the sign that I've finally adapted to metal more or less fully :P Thought the instrumentals needed a bit more work, especially as far as tightening up. The composition is good, but the performance is a bit loose - and I'm sure part of it is the messy production too.

I will give you, though, that I was grammatically incorrect around it. I was calling your use of "Screamo" to define Alex's vocals impudent.

ITT: SEMANTICS

I personally think his use of "impudent" was correct.

Haha, thanks for defending me guys. And well to unveil the sound of my voice, the only things we did is to use a midtone mic (doesn't record the high pitches) and we doubled some parts (mostly chorus) and sometimes we toyed around with reverb or echo (like the WAR at the ned of Hearts at War's Verses) that's about it.

So yeah that's what my voice sounds like after years of training. ;)

He makes music that makes children cry, decent editor AND he's german! What's not to love.
But seriously, warheart (or anybody) check this program out, it makes recording and distortions on your computer wicked easy and fun. http://guitarfx.net/
I'v been using it for like a month now, it works really good. Not to mention it works with vocals, keyboards and anything else u can jack into your audio in. Anybody that does music should use this, it's wicked cool.
Just though i'd spread the love 8-)
