Mornington Crescent, anyone?

How about an un-timed on-going match for a change? (Or else a new time?)

Perhaps we should have a 'casual' thread for an un-timed on-going match, and then keep this thread for the serious players?

I initiate the shaun of the dead inspired zombie protocols by necroposting.

(if you don't know about them they act pretty much the same way as the black death variation created by one Charles Marlane for a halloween party.)

My first move is ... Sudbury Hill!

(what can I say I like to gamble)

Unfortunately for you Todd, I've been watching professional replays of Mornington Crescent and know the perfect counter.

Stanmore

Have fun with that.

That's an interesting pair of openings. I prefer to play a bit more conservatively. I'll open with Paddington.

I'll take the diagonal opening you left and hop straight to Mornington Crescent

Ahh Ahh Ahh ... Shaun of the Dead rules remember?
You are now effectively dead. (In Spoons for 8 turns)

I'm gonna close the Triangle created by inthesto, and Lantis ... and Speed on down to Picadilly Circus.

This game is so much cooler when played with a day Travelcard and the actual Tube : )

Interesting, interesting...

FC's closing the triangle opens the Moretown Convention rules as well as the Second Coalition Corollary, so that allows me to move to:

Charing Cross.

And that bumps both other corner-holders (FC and sto) two ellipticals, plus puts the one of my choice into spoon for two, so I decide FC gets that honor.

Mornington Crescent in two. :)

That Dollis Hill loop is downright infernal, so I'll invoke the Dundonald Road-Dollis Hill Amendment of 1991 to crack it, moving me to Euston and huffing dokool for starting the loop.

MC in 3, now.

I'll invoke the 1973 Rules Amendments, and take the reverse lateral shunt to Knightsbridge.
