Show off your art, and/or sites.

I know a lot of people here make art, too. SO show it off! >:D

Please only link to images over 500x500 instead of using the image tags.

And by 500x500 I really meant only 500px wide, but having a hugely tall image wouldn't be too great.

Anyway, I've been admiring this one guy's Illustrator for a while, but I don't have Illustrator and don't really like the way Flash handles drawn Vectors. So I took a few hours yesterday to expirement with vectors and the Pen tool in Photoshop. I don't have a tablet, so this was all done by hand. D:

All the shading is done through adjustment layers, as well. The whole thing is a first for me, I've never used the pen tool or adjustment layers before.

I don't update any more, but I've got some crappy stuff on http://ziko.sheezyart.com

Here's something I made for Valentines Day a few years ago. Oddly enough, my wife liked it other than the brief bit of internet speak I included. Linky

Something made for the inlaws: Another linky

In a very unusual move for me, something that wasn't me being a complete ass. And yet another linky
And thus I finally get around to making a picture of my wife and me available.

The only reason I like this one anymore is that other than the flower it was created entirely in photoshop without a source picture. I never did get around to finishing it though, at some point I realized there was no reason to fake metal and paint in photoshop when I could just go take photos of real metal and paint and edit them if I wanted. One more linky

Note: These where from back when I was first learning photoshop so there are some blatant problems with them. I'd fix them except I don't give a damn anymore.

Your first one was hilarious and very symbolist of you. The last one was awesome. I wish I could make stuff look that real. o_o;

As for me, I did more vectors in Photoshop. I got lazy with these two, but ah well.
Wanna fight?

And a pencil piece, since everyone else was doin' it:

Hm...hard to find pics that aren't yaoi. I haven't done anything but anime style art in forever. And I do all my "digital art" with a mouse and PhotoImpression4. I'm lucky if I can do straight lines, so forget any artistic coloring styles.

I did a dragon a while back. ^^

The sketch
Colored version

Mostly I like drawing characters, as close to the original anime as I can get. I lack an original artistic style, but I'm good at monkey-see-monkey-do.

Prince of Tennis:

Fudomine - Kamio and Shinji
Hyoutei - Oshitari and Gakuto

I used to do real-life sketches, pretty good with faces, but I never could do hands. God, I hate hands. I don't think I still have any of those sketches. >.>

Hands are the work of the devil. :?

But I got a picture. Watch the hands in this one. It's animated, a little excerpt from a vid that never was (because I realized no one watches Prince of Tennis, so they won't get how cool it is to see a tennis player redrawn as a samurai). There were so many hand positions in this that I considered placing an object in front of him to hide his hands - only problem was I'd have to move the object along with him and that would have just been...weird... >.>

Wow, that's cool. And you did it in Oekaki? Do you have a tablet?

I've done some animated stuff as well. Some random things in Flash I'm not very proud of, a couple crappy Imageready things, then I went crazy on a tracing paper pad and scanned it all in and got these:
Chains
Wind
I made the mistake of drawing the smoke in the wind one, so it doesn't really.. move right. >_>

I think anything done with a mouse and 'fill/paintbrush' options is oekaki on devart. That's where I end up putting everything. PhotoImp isn't as bad as a paint program, but it's not really intended to do drawings. I used layers to do each new frame (digital tracing paper?), and get the colors matched up. But, yeah, no tablet - I'm not really sure what a tablet is except it lets people do some cool cg coloring and shading that I'm envious of.

Nice hair blowing. I love drawing hair, but animating it is as bad as drawing hands. It never looks as natural as it does in anime. >.<

Your style reminds me of my mom. Odd comment, but I wish I had one of her doodles I could scan in - she does these...elfin pixie type characters, and she can draw them so easily she doesn't even have to be paying attention, just doodling while she's on the phone. She's ridiculously good at hands, too. Makes me so mad I didn't get any of that passed down to me. :x

Lol. I'd post up one of my papers where I exclusively drew hands just to tick you off, but I lost it in my reformat. Darn. D:

Odd, So now I could be Ari's mom. But thanks for the comment. The problem now is I draw that character(Q, I know, original name, right? XDD) so much it's hard for me to draw different people now. X|
