R-Type Final. Wondering how long until the usual fatigue with this game sets in and I just put the ships on invincible to chew through the time needed to unlock some of them. It wouldn't be so bad if there was more level branching to add variation. But no, 4 levels that are always exactly the same, 1 level that's simply different hot/cold variants, three ending routes that are always exactly the same, and an extra level sandwiched into the middle that only happens if you defeat the level 3 boss with Cross The Rubicon. It gets so boring after a while, and the huge array of different ships is not enough to stave that off.
