Double War Machine is the best team in MvC history.

I've finally gotten the hang of Dark Souls, and it's pretty fun once you've gotten a handle on all the bullshit. I still hate cliffs, though.

I'm also considering picking up a fighting game and getting myself back in the game. Pretty disenchanted with SF4, don't like MvC3, so that leaves...Tekken? Christ, learning Tekken is a bitch and a half.

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

Seriously, it's the best expansion yet. The story and lore is incredibly rich. Moreso then ever before it feels like a completely brand new experience. Of course certain quest mechanics are going to be there (kill these guys, find these things, etc.) but it's all so amazingly streamlined and never grindy. Not to mention the art and music is phenomenal, the dungeons are way fun, the pet battle system is crazy addictive, the new Monk class is fantastic. All together I am just having a blast playing WoW again.

So the PSX Gameshark didn't want to work in the PS2 I was using. After a bit of trying to wrangle answers about the PS2 Gameshark out of Google, I finally tried using the thing in my actual PSX (which I had been avoiding because it's 14 years old and the laser likes to act up...a lot). Thankfully, it actually worked this time, and allowed me to load the save without getting that error thrown in my face. I then saved over the ruined one (as there wasn't room to save in a blank slot), and switched the game/memory card back to the PS2. Works again, without having to Gameshark it.

Who would have ever thought that a Gameshark would make an awesome memory card recovery solution?

Just beat RE6 yesterday and it was awesome, I particulary liked Jake and Sherry's campaign the most but the final battles in Leon and Helena's were the absolute best. I don't know why the game's been getting a mixed reception. Moreso, people complaining about the game not being scary enough. Sometimes the gaming community itself doesn't know what it wants. If those complaining wants to play scary survival horrors they should try other series like Dead Space. I've been a RE fan since the late 90s and honestly I like the direction the series is heading. Yes there were some issues that irked me, particulary with the quicktime events, but overall I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and hardly had any issues period. Anyway, I'm going back to play a classic.

Hard game but the story, characters, and vibe in this game are fantastic. Like Persona 3 & 4 it's one of those games where you actually care about the people you're saving and there are alotta memorable scenes with them, like with Kafei and Anju, and Cremia and Romani. And I LOVED the commercials for this game. I'm surprised FF13-3 will be using almost the same clock system that's in this game, which I can't wait for. But seriously, FF Versus 13 has to come out after this does. It's already been 6 years since they first previewed it. I NEEDS IT

Finished Hard Mode in Bayonetta with a lot less headache towards the end than I thought it would be. I was annoyed that I got caught in a damage loop during the final boss, though. It brings up a field of ice and enemies are shooting ice rocks at you. You can get frozen in a rock and then get caught in an endless loop of being frozen if you're unlucky. I died three times because of that bullshit and had no choice but to use the invincibility item to bring myself out of it.

Now I'm starting Non Stop Infinite Climax and reminding myself to just take it one chapter at a time. I don't think it'll be any worse, though. I've read that it's more or less Hard Mode without Witch Time, which I wasn't using anyway due to having the Evil Harvest Rosary accessory equipped. With the exception of a few battles, I don't think I'll miss it.

In related news, my brother loaned me Star Ocean 4 and I was thinking of doing a blind Let's Play of it. I have never played a Star Ocean before, so this would be truly blind, but live commentary should be easy, since it's an RPG. That won't be for a while yet, though, because with my crappy work schedule, I haven't had much time for games, and I can only do commentary when I'm home alone, which doesn't happen nearly as often as I wish it would.

Mmmkway, I'm playing a lot right now... >_>' I have a wandering gaming syndrome. Plus, I have maybe 2-3 hours a night to actual play stuff.

Shin Megami Tensai Devil Survivor : Overclocked
-I finished the main game a while ago. It's a FABULOUS game and I recommend it to RPG enthusiasts. It has time related restrictions, but they're not ridiculously complicated. Meanwhile, the actual playing of the game right now is using New Game+ to get all of the in-game achievements and get all 5 endings. It's rather tedious for the first few parts of the game in New Game + fighting ridiculous amounts of weak enemies, BUT the endgame is always fun.

Shin Megami Tensai Devil Survivor 2
-Not too far into this one. The DS graphics are a turnoff, and it's not got any voice acting in it. Pretty good so far, but it seems like a repeat of the abovementioned game, which is technically superior. I'll get more into it soon.

Dishonored
-Not too far in. Teleportation is FUN and I like the artwork and development. Not much of an opinion yet.

Minecraft 360 Update
-Started a new world with the family. There are 4 villages within walking distance, so I have been building underground subways between them. Then I'll be looking for strongholds and other stuff.

Black2/White2
-Completed White2. FANTASTIC GO PLAY IT. Probably one of the best games in the series. Meanwhile, dex hunting and playing main story in black 2. Plan on doing a catch em' all rush asap.

Dishonored. I finally got time to make some good progress in it yesterday, and I'm loving it. All of the missions so far have been really fun, and I think some of them are actually a lot more interesting if you're trying for stealth rather than just running in and killing everyone. Stealth probably takes more time and patience, but it's nice that they actually reward you in ways that make it entertaining (to me at least).
