Former AMVer nominated for a VMA
Fun little bit of news. For those of you who remember David Violence (hasn't been around in the AMV community in a long time), he went on to do really awesome shit in VFX, motion graphics and directing. He directed and was lead animator on a music video for the Flying Lotus track "Tiny Tortures" and it just got nominated for a MTV Video Music Award (Best Visual Effects). Pretty damn cool if you ask me.

You should also link to http://dlew.me/, because, like a lot of former AMVers, I'm sure he hates that prior association with a passion.
