Re: color/hue test
Spoiler :
*actually to expand on that, it's not really low budget. It was the cheapest 1920x1200 I could find around back in 2k9, but considering that 1920x1200 is supposedly a professional resolution, I guess it's on the higher end of the spectrum as far as TN go. It's better than a netbook's TN for sure.

Re: color/hue test
Hmm... I was wondering why I had a hard time identifying the color blue. (Learn something new about myself every day)
Attempt 1
Attempt 2
(I got lazy and only focused on the mistakes I made the first time)
= score of 0 in my eyes. pun fully intended.
-------------------------------
I think the luma range of peoples monitors makes a huge difference too...
...and how hard you try, to a certain extent.
(I'm on a 21" Samsung something-or-other...)
You can also hold ctrl and scroll your mouse wheel to zoom in
Or lean back to see things as a whole.
I'm considering testing both eyes separately too.
Or not.
Probably not.
