Now luckily, I very rarely have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep, and those rare times I wake up and can't go back to sleep, reading a few chapters of a book will knock me back out.
I kinda wish I could get by on 6 hours...I'd get so much more done in a day. Instead I've been calling it quits at 9:30-10pm so I can get up and go to work at 7am.
For me, it's more of a mental thing because if I *know* I have to go to work or school, I get up crappy no matter what.
I've gone to bed at 8pm, woke up at 6am which is 10 hours of sleep on a workday, and still woke up crappy.
I've also gone to bed at 2am and got up at 7am all energetic to edit videos since I was unemployed.
One time, my cousin and I wanted to experiment with forcing ourselves to get up early over a weekend and realize we could go back to sleep. Sadly, this backfired as we couldn't go back to sleep.
