Waking up feeling tired. Great way to start a day.

High atmospheric pressure (Most people technically like it since it usually means sunny weather, but it's the only thing that I know for a fact gives me headaches - more precisely, rising atmospheric pressure gives me headaches. So unlike a lot of people, I actually usually feel a lot more better and have more energy on cloudy days.)

Sitting. I've come to the conclusion that it's not just certain kinds of seats I don't like (although seats on the bus and other situations where I lack leg room are still the worst offenders), but the activity of sitting itself. I've actually basically got rid of all the seats in my room and stand at my PCs now. But some kinds of work still require sitting and it really annoys me. I wish I could get by in life by just standing/walking or laying around in bed or something, without all that sitting in between.

I can stand the pressure but being in the sunlight for too long gives me migraine (the most lovely situation is when I wake up with a terrible headache because it's so hot in my apartment and the sun is shining right into my face through the window). Yes, clouds please |:>

I hate that I get so tired from work, I go to bed around 9pm-10pm, not giving me time to do shit when I get home at 6.

I started drinking coffee again to stop this.

That bloated feeling after drinking any sort of alcoholic beverage. And then the heartburn that comes after that starts to go away.

I prefer the cooling effect of the rain/clouds associated with low fronts, but it's a toss-up because (at least in Florida) it means humidity. Lots and lots of humidity. And you feel like you're going to suffocate because it doesn't drop the temperature all that much and ends up turning the air into a misted, dreary-looking soup. I love the dreariness, but I don't like feeling like I've walked into a sauna.

That feeling when you want to change the name of a video but can't for the sake of continuity and/or ease of access.

That feeling when you want to delete a video due to it being bad, but can't because you don't want that month of editing to go to waste.

That feeling when you release a beta for a video and then realize that you haven't worked on that video in nearly a year.

Breaking in a new mouse. I got so used to my old, unresponsive, heavy clunker that the super-sensitivity and light weight of this one is driving me crazy - but then, I raged when I had to get used to my desktop keyboard (and monitor) again after my laptop failed, and I'm enduring that pretty well now. This is just something that will take time. :|

This.

I gave up on my new wireless mouse. If I moved it too far from the computer it wouldn't work, and the batteries barely lasted 24hrs. Even when I had it really close to the computer, I had to be careful because if I turned it the wrong way it wouldn't work. I really wanted to go back to an old one with a ball instead of a laser because I could control those better. I eventually compromised and got one with a laser and a wire. It still slides too easily for me to draw a straight line with it, but at least the wire is long enough to let me have it a few feet from the computer. I hate battery operated things with a vengeance. I went to Radio Shack looking for an extender cord for my headset and they tried to pawn a wireless battery operated headset off on me instead. I had to glare the poor misguided woman into giving me the cord I wanted. She was still shaking her head at me when I left. Why does everyone want battery operated things? Especially things that never leave the house. They must be getting their batteries a lot cheaper than I'm getting mine. I'll take a longer wire over a battery any day.

When your at work and someone who is clearly not your boss, tries to act like your boss. Most of the times I just ignore them cause i'm in zombie mode but today for some reason I raged.

Ok so it didn't go anything like that but I highly doubt they will be bothering me again. :awesome:

If they do, next time i'll throw a chair. Usually that gets the point across fairly well.
"The people cannot be [...] always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to [...] the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to public liberty. What country can preserve its liberties, if it's rulers are not warned [...] that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants."-Thomas Jefferson

Otohiko wrote:One that frequently comes to my mind - talking casually to women who will suddenly and out of nowhere bring up their boyfriend in the conversation, like some sort of defense mechanism. Jesus christ, when every other sentence ends with "my boyfriend" and I only asked what they've been up to lately, it really grinds on my nerves. I don't hate anyone mentioning their boyfriend at all or anything, but there's a very clear line between casually mentioning something and obsessively reinforcing something. It's very obvious to me when I'm being treated as some sort of male on the prowl who could obviously be a threat and needs to be reminded his place. It's not like that happens constantly or anything, but often enough to really annoy me.

There's many counterexamples to that; for example a girl that I actually had a huge crush on about a year ago turned out not to be single, but was completely cool about the way she revealed that information or treated me otherwise. It was good for me to know in that situation, too. There's plenty of genuine ways and reasons why a significant other could be mentioned, and I certainly got no problem with those and would be entirely interested if it actually has to do with the subject of conversation at hand. But it really fucking drives me up the wall when I get those blatant signals in casual conversation for no reason other than the obvious lame one :|

I completely agree, it drives me nuts. A cute barista at a Starbucks had a nice necklace on. When I ordered a coffee, I smiled and said

"That's a nice neckla--
"THANKS, MY BOYFRIEND GOT IT FOR ME WHEN WE TOOK A VACATION TO THE BAHAMAS. THATS WERE HE PROPOSED."

It's like, wow you really think you need to hold up a sign? What do you think's gonna happen, I grab your hair and fuck you in the bathroom? Are you REALLY that scared?

Women hit on me all the time and I never say one word about any significant other I may or may not have. It's none of their business. It's casual flirting. When a guy likes your shoes, he isn't proposing.

bitches needa chill numsayn.
