I've used 3 or 4 in my 11 years in college, and they've all SUCKED. Over the last decade, they seem to have undergone a smooth transition from having shitty basic functionality, to being full of bloat, and that's about it.
My university's current one has now been down, for reasons unknown, for almost 40 straight hours. And I teach 3 courses where we're forced to use it, though at least only on a limited basis - but it's still sending some of my students into a panic. Hope it turns out that what happened is a hack by some disgruntled student or something - at least that'd be sort of hilarious.
I can only imagine what it's like for those teaching online-only courses. It's probably the fucking apocalypse for them D:

also i really don't like when people can't just be straightforward and honest. this is currently relevant to someone ignoring my texts which irritates me because it's someone i care about and i'd like to wait around for replies but it's horrible when i'm not sure whether they just aren't able to respond or are deliberately ignoring me and i now realize it's the latter. it's almost worse when they do respond but beat around the bush or make excuses instead of being straight up and directly addressing their feelings

Being twenty-five and still having pimples, especially since the worst ones are only ever on my face. I mean, what the hell? I know some people have it for life, but I seriously hope I'm not one of them. I tried a treatment regimen for a couple of years back in college, but all it did was destroy my skin. I was always dry and flaky, even long after I had "gotten used" to the skin cream (where it wasn't burning, I mean). So great, not only did I still have pimples, but I couldn't even wear makeup properly to cover them up. I said "fuck it" and went off of the meds. My breakouts didn't change at all. Now, I have a terrible fucking job where I'm around oil and smoke constantly, so my skin always feels nasty at the end of a day, and it's freaking out more than ever.

All I need is a penis and a neckbeard, and I'll be a perfect disgusting gamer stereotype.
