I raise my glass to a great man, a great inspiration and a strong person. Sorry, can't drink alcohol, but I heard this was one of his favorite non-alcoholic beverages. It's because of him and conversations I had with him that I finally had the courage to quit the job that I hated doing (webmaster) and focus more on the job that I loved doing (taxes). Life is too short to do things that we hate doing. I am so much happier and in roughly the same financial situation as I was before.

guess we don't have any alcohol in the house, which is a shame cause my parents are out of the house at night for the first time in months! but oh well, pretend this is beer.

r.i.p. guy. judging from the atmosphere around here, and how many times it's been said already, you'll be missed. and you died with as much and as meaningful of a following in this hobby as anyone could hope for, and i'm envious of that. i hope the massive impact on this community and the pains everyone around here is taking to ensure that you're remembered for as long as possible does something to lessen how little justice there is in your passing. And i can't say i ever knew you or knew anything about you, but i'll miss you like slightly above-casual apple consumers miss steve jobs. if that's worth anything.
