The irony..
I could throw in the remedies of a smart aleck, but I'll keep my nose out of this one.

Whether his death was sooner or later, a man died and we should always offer our condolences and respects for the dead instead of disrespecting his death.

I never really watched any of the shows and whether or not he was just an "idiot" doesn't really make a difference to me.

He was someone's best friend. And I'm sad for their loss.

I'm not saying he was right in any way, all I'm saying is people are fucking hurting right now and they don't need it shoved in their faces. The video of Bam at the crash site crushed me, he lost his brother and best friend, I know exactly how he feels because I've been through the same thing. All I'm saying is show some decency and insult him later.

Sorry, but I have very little respect for people who put other's in danger like that. His lifestyle and career only reinforced the behavior that contributed to his and another person's death. Yes it's sad, on multiple levels, and I'm sorry for the loss his friends' and family might be feeling but no one here are friends and family. You might be hurt and upset that he's dead but I'm honestly more upset that he killed another man and that both family's have to morn because of his idiotic behavior. So, I'm not going to apologize to anyone here for calling him an idiot. He is.

It's a shame that he passed away. It's even more of shame of how it happened. :(

Saying that he killed another man is bullshit as far as I'm concerned. The guy was with him, knew him, knew he was drinking, and more than likely knew he was a ledfoot. At some point people have to take responsibilities for their own actions. Again, I'm not condoning what happened or saying Dunn was right in any way, all I'm saying is that some common human decency should also be shown. i.e people trying to steal parts of the car and badmouthing him so very soon as hours after his death.

ps: You don't have to be friends or family with somebody to feel a loss and understand what those people are going through.

Right, so it was his fault for getting into the car as a passenger and it was his fault for being killed. How about we blame Porsche for allowing the car to go that fast.... lets blame the booze companies that made the alcohol he drank. OH! lets blame the people who put on that party he was at! That's bullshit. Dunn was the driver, it was his responsibility.

I've been to my unfair share of funerals... I understand what it's like to lose someone.

Let me put it this way, would you get in a car with somebody who has been drinking? I sure as fuck wouldn't, but you know, I guess I'm just crazy.

If I knew they were as drunk as Dunn was and they acted like they were drunk, no way. If i didn't know and they acted normal (in Dunn's case, there might not be a difference between sober and drunk) i likely would. You're also assuming i'm not drunk off my ass to make a responsible decision either. I'm sure if Dunn knew how drunk he was, he might not have got in the car either... Doesn't change the fact that Dunn got behind the wheel which makes it his responsibility.

If I'm sober and I'm driving a friend around and I hit another car and injure my friend. I'm going to take responsibility for it. I'm not going to turn to my friend and say, "Sorry, bro, not my fault you wanted a ride."

That's hardly even a SIMILAR situation. Drinking impairs driving, period. If he could tell how intoxicated he was or not, he knew he was drinking, he shouldn't have gotten in the car with him and if he was any kind of responsible, he would've taken his goddamn keys. Saying "Oh, he was drunk too, that means he wasn't responsible for his actions!" is the same thing as saying "It wasn't Dunn's fault he crashed, he was drunk!". If it were me, that's what I would've done. It's unfair to sully his memory by essentially calling him a fucking murderer and it sickens me.

The action of shooting somebody causes the death of another person, too. I say they both caused their own deaths and were responsible for their own fates.
