I made a
cold cucumber soup and a
chilled cantaloupe soup for ACen this year. It wasn't eaten much, but the consensus was that they were both tasty. I, myself, was not a fan of the cucumber variety (which was weird, because I expected to love it), but I did enjoy the cantaloupe.
I had actually asked my mother to prepare them for me (as I was otherwise occupied), but as time has proven again and again, never let someone else do your job. I bought enough ingredients to quadruple each recipe, but she only actually multiplied some parts of it - namely, the latter soup had one cantaloupe to twice the yogurt, twice the lemon, and four times the ginger.

So I had to get her to fix that shit, and it was still heavy on ginger after I blended up another fruit. We strained that one, because the pulpy consistency was just not working. (I'm wondering if straining the cucumber concoction would have improved it for me.) Also, it needed a pinch of sugar, because the cantaloupes weren't very ripe or sweet.
In any case, both are very healthy, minus the little added sugar, and I would recommend these recipes, personal tastes aside. Sorry, no pretty pictures of my own to offer, but the website's are much nicer anyway.
