Re: Food thread!
Saw these frozen 1min cook time chicken sandwiches at meijer when I was out shopping. Reminded me of the days when I was poor in Lexington and living off of similar items from Save-a-Lot. Decided to pick one up and give it a try. Got a hashbrown patty on top of the chicken patty. Pretty tasty all around snack. Not bad for a buck and 2 mins of cook time.

Re: Food thread!
The strawberries were to go with these cookies I made for Koopiskeva and pero's wedding shower today:
They turned out very derpy and were upstaged by some excellent shark cupcakes that someone got from a bakery (and rightly so, they were awesome), but it's the thought that counts. Their wedding is Domo themed, so I figured some Domo-kuukies would be good.

Last night's dinner. Turned out really well. Grilled ham and bacon sandwich with lightly seasoned tater tots cooked in taco seasoning seasoned oil. Made the whole house smell of pig. It was glorious.

Re: Food thread!
It's been hot and icky in Chicago, top apartment + no AC = blech. I get hungry, but I really don't want to eat hot food in this weather. These salads have been perfect. I cooked up 5 lbs of boneless/skinless chicken breast (added garlic salt, black pepper, parmesan and paprika) so that I'd have it ready in the fridge to add to a salad. I don't think I've eaten much else in the past four days.
