Let's see... tonight I made stuffed mushrooms with provolone and Italian sausage. I just put little chunks of the sausage on the caps raw with the cheese (cubed up in very small pieces), and in twenty minutes, it was cooked perfectly. Next time, I might salt the mushrooms a little to help pull some more moisture from them. Also, more of a crusty, bready topping might be good.
I also made a lasagna. Simple version: tomato sauce, fresh chopped tomatoes, Parmesean, ricotta, mozzarella, fresh basil (cut into ribbons), garlic powder (dummy me forgot I had jarred garlic in the fridge), salt/pepper, ground beef, chopped mushrooms, and the obligatory noodles.
