My site got hacked. I spent hours editing scripts one page at a time. Then I recalled something I read years ago, when I first made the site, about my webhost providing some sort of automatic backups. I ended up replacing the pages I had edited as well as the ones I hadn't gotten to yet. Now my elbow is killing me from all that nonstop button clicking. Guh. Why do I always have to do things the hard way? I swear, give me a can of food and I'll hack away at it with a knife until I'm completely worn out before it suddenly occurs to me to get a can opener.

I am so tired. I just want to go home and not move but I've already missed 2 days of work due to it. My eyes hurt and if this continues on I think I'll have to get myself checked out. I'm just hoping my body catches up with my mind and figures out "HEY! YOU'RE TIRED AS FUCK. WE SLEEP NOW, YES?"

I'm the opposite, I can't seem to stay awake when I get home. :x

There was an earthquake in Emila-Romagna tonight. I'm in Lecco (Lombardia) at a friend's place currently, yet it actually woke me up; it was that strong, 5.9 Magnitude actually.
Seems damages were rathers serious. Currently "only" 4 known deaths, but chances are the number is going to rise... and our country's economical situation isn't so bright, so this possibly had one of the worst timings, too.

Just to make sure you don't get me wrong, I was somewhat far from the epicenter. Just had a bit of a "what the hell" moment when the bed and everything was shaking in the middle of the night, so to reassure you guys, I personally am safe and I believe the other Italians on the org are fine too (at least the ones I know of, though I'd like to hear from simofc90 first, since I'm not sure how his family's doing, but I believe they were far off enough as wellEDIT: Yeah, they're doing fine, the epicenter was towards Modena and they're in Forlì, so they didn't feel it too much).
The people who really had issues are ones near the epicenter, the damages there were quite high considering that we're full of historical buildings in Italy... so those were easily affected. Here's a gallery so you can see.
The death count has increased slightly, to 6 known dead now, but there seem to also be about 3k homeless.
I don't know if you recall, but in 2009 there was another 5.9 magnitue earthquake, in Aquila. Back then it was a far worse tragedy, so in a way I'm glad this time it didn't go quite as badly, but I still wish we had better buildings so earthquakes would be less of an issue...

I hope you're alright too, Mirko. Who knows who the earthquake gets next... I have the pleasure to live in the country on your right  Now, some gross stuff. It's a routine for me after all...

So, where do I start. As you may know, I work as a policeman, here in Athens, Greece. Under the Security Department - undercover business and such. Primarily my duty is to take the prisoners to the court, and when I'm talking about prisoners... heavy drug users from middle Asia, thieves, prostitutes and so on. Every Monday, like today, the court is full of those guys, due to the postponements they get on Sunday. Anyway, long story made short, I had three prisoners with me, and the highlight of them was a drug user with Aids and Hepatitis. Great. After 4 hours of running here and there, the guy finally collapsed outside of the court. Seeing this, the fellow policeman (and friend of mine) went behind the building to convince the judges so that they accept us first on the list - and then we could go to the hospital, finally. Ok they said, let us know when we enter the court.

And they enter it. Seeing me (everybody was doing it) holding a guy that had fainted. Saliva all over his face and a runny nose - remember of all of his illneses. And then they said "Sorry, we'll judge everyone according to our list, get back to your seat" "BUT" my friend responded, "This guy has Aids! Hepatitis! Fainted because of the drugs!" "So what? My right hand hurts too." the judge replied. Oh boy, I exploded next.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS? LOOK AT HIM!" with about a hundred people in the room looking at me. Oh boy. "IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO HIM, I AM RESPONSIBLE NO MORE. YOU ARE." The judge kept staring at me. "Who are you? A policeman? I don't care. It's your responsibility - and why don't you take him to the hospital. I want your name too, later." "I don't care, do whatever you want. I won't be holding him any much longer." And the fact is that he accepted him a minute later and gave him a postponement for the next day. Yeah, sure he'll come.

Now, for the really gross part. We called the headquarters to send us someone so he would get as fast as he could to the hospital. They arrived 2 hours later, fuck this shit. In the end, we returned him to the police station that had him... and a minute before we reach it, he starts puking. Vomit all over his body, and my friend was freaking out as we were running fast as hell. If i was the owner of our car, I would have destroyed it in the very pits of Hell itself, I'm not sitting in a car full of Aids vomit and other nice stuff. Join the police they said. It will be nice they said. Why the angry face they said.

Please don't commit suicide they said. Oh, all those joys of life...

I've been working on an AMV for over a month.
A couple days before finishing, A well known editor uploads an AMV using the same SONG and same ANIME.
I raged.

That shouldn't stop you from uploading it. Who cares if someone else made the same video? As long as you tried your best and put your all into it then screw the masses.

I was in a studio and leader had some issues with me.

I admitted to my mistakes and sincerely apologized for all of them.

Included in the issues was a low blow about my editing. Stating that it hasn't improved at all.
To me that was a low blow and uneccessary as it had nothing to do with the main issues.

I asked for an apology and she refused. So in the end she kicked me out.
She told me as a leader she has a right to tell me that.
I agree that if I hand in a MEP part or do something studio related and it's not up to par then it should be critiqued.

I think just throwing it in with other more important and REAL issues is giving someone a low blow and I don't think I was wrong in asking for an apology.

I really hate being to told to grow up when I'm feeling hurt and down just because of my age.
