a Black 17 year old boy has a pizza deliverying bag and a pizzaria shirt on at 9:30 waiting in front of somebodies door and the side door... knocking .. after 10 minutes the owner finally came to the door to pay for his delivery.. when come to my car guess what i see. Security by my car... RAGE FILLED MY BODY, I dont know what is wrong with people. i would understand if i looked suspicious(maybe if i had a mask, or had all black on) but holding a pizza kinda throws off belief that im going kill someone. Good thing i didnt have a bag of skittles and a ice tea or i probably wouldnt be posting this post. the more i think about it the angrier i get. stupid sh*t like this makes people start to hate themselves and who they are... Stupidity and ignorance

More of a "story so far" than a vent, I guess.

My sister and her husband drove an hour and a half today in order to help us begin packing up the house. She didn't say anything about helping us out with money, but I suspect that she wants to keep that silent until we definitively have an apartment. Dan (the husband) searched out quite a few - all out of town, of course.

This means that I have no choice but to give up my job. In a cheaper place, my mother can support the two of us, but it also means that my chances of becoming independent just dropped down to zero again. I'm back at square one, like it or not, including having most of my money gone, as it'll be eaten up with the first month's rent and whatever other move-in costs come my way.

I don't mind living in a city closer to her job. It's what I wanted from the start anyway. I just wish I hadn't gotten so comfortable at my current job. I was just finally getting to a point where I was confident in myself, where what I was doing felt natural, and now I have to start that grueling process all over again - assuming I can even find a place that is hiring, assuming we even get into an apartment.

On a different topic, you know what's weird? Throwing away things. It starts off feeling like this overwhelming task, and every loose scrap of paper and lint suddenly has sentimental value... and then you find something that you absolutely do not want. And it becomes easy. Everything is garbage, and you find yourself tossing things left and right, as if you were cleansing yourself of something cloying and excessive. We'll see if this keeps up when we get to my room tomorrow...

rather melancholic, every time I wander back into this community I had can't bring myself to connect with anyone. The last two times I connected with anyone, I lost them one way or another..

I'm in training for a new Inbound Complaints team for a bank at work. I hate my new team. Why? They sit there and bitch about people they barely know. A group of them even said, while EVERYONE was in the room. 'I bet we're going to be the ones who sit and talk about people behind their back when they leave the room.' WTH. This isn't school. We also had to learn slides (one of which was 155 slides long) and do they let people focus? No. They sit there making fun of a persons name, laughing about it. It's not like anyone is trying to concentrate on learning stuff for a test they'll get in 20 minutes. Nope, not at all.

Oh, when discussing who was single in the group. They sat and spoke about me like I wasn't even there. I mean, of course I'm single because I'm not pretty enough. Hatred. Actual hatred.

This will be the longest 2 weeks I've experienced in work, ever.

Work rant:

Some higher ups are getting on my ass about orders I made for some really expensive products that need to go to certain places. A couple of those places said they haven't gotten the items yet... for several months. :uhoh: :x

We work with this pre-historic system that sends out an order to our manufacturer and they have the tracking order # and not us. I have requested every single time for our manufacturer to give me a tracking # when the item is shipped out, but they haven't sent me jack squat, so I assume the items get there safely..

I called up the manufacturer and they said they have no record of any of the items being shipped, despite me having logs in the database on my end. I email them scanned copies of all my logs... and still nothing.

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

Not to mention the representative I talked to was incredibly rude and wanted me off the phone ASAP. Believe me, I sure as hell wanted to hang up.

Now I have several angry vendors asking where their product is, people yelling at me to get them their products, and I have no clue what the hell happened to them, thanks to our piece of crap ordering system.

Excuse me while I drown myself in alcohol tonight.

Really wishing that my manager would quit scheduling me for four hour shifts and then giving me five hours of work to do (and that's with me coming in a little early most days). It's not that I mind the extra pay, but when I'm trying to plan things (meals, outings, chores, etc.), it's a real pain in the ass to always say, "I don't know when I'll be done working." It leads to a lot of lukewarm dinners, pissed friends, and late night laundry.

EDIT: but for the record, it kind of feels good to just have a first world problem to bitch about now.

Decided to stay up all night in order to finish a rig for my class tomorrow so I won't have to work on it during final's week, yet i've been sitting hear for 6 hours and have made no progress on it thanks to anime and music being such huge distractions for me (aka procrastination)

Spoiler :

I'm nowhere near finished and have pretty much lost all motivation to continue working on it tonight... hectic final's week, here I come

I'm so angry with myself too o(╥﹏╥)o

OMG! That's so wrong. Here you are being responsible by WORKING and they harrass you like that? I bet someone was shot that night and they were dealing with you.

Anywho. I hate racism due to ignorance like that. Not everyone fits a stereotype.

I hope you can overcome this and I pray that the bill for the law making it illegal to film Police officers doesn't pass.

WTF? That's crazy! You should stand up for yourself and let people know you are confident and that you aren't going to be walked on. Better to do in private, but I would so say something.

Since we are on the topic of retarted people. I was having my cut by a women on my street. I went 3 times and on the 3rd time she complained that I tell her what to do too much and that my daughter was annoying. She basically vented on me and gave me the worst hair cut I ever had.

The moral of the story here is.....

If you have an issue with someone ie.... bringing my daugher to the appointment.... Couldn't she have just told me when I booked the appointment? I would have re-booked for a time when my husband was home. Duh? She had a playroom so I thought it was OK. I do see her point of view, but I don't see why you have to be a bitch like that.

Anywho.....It's been almost a year now and she still acts like I did something wrong. I only told people who did my hair if they asked......and Oh did they ever.

So I was thinking of being the bigger person and giving her a call. She's in her 40s and acts like a child. So I guess some of us never gorw up :(
