Was actually looking of moving to T Mobile because of their somewhat decent terms and good service around here. Looks like i'm sticking with my 13 year old phone and pay-as-you-go plan for a while longer.

Saw my doctor and he said everything I had been doing (Ice and Heat) was all he would recommend. It's gotten a lot better in the past week. Only hurts when I move my head at extreme angles now.

Not to play doctor or anything but....

That was essentially the symptoms that forced me to start seeking out what the hell was wrong with me [granted, I also couldn't walk due to knee pain and my toe bones in a constant twanging pain, but neck/back pain was quickly showing up to the point where I could not move my head at ALL]. After about a year of hearing "it's all in your head" "it's normal to hurt a little" and after 2 unnecessary operations, I found out I had arthritis at 17.

They can run a test based on the inflammation in your joints.

Just a thought. >_<

He did perform a number of pressure and tension tests to conclude that it was most-likely muscle-based and the location of the pain suggested it was sleep-posture induced (memory foam mattresses are awesome, but they let you sleep in less than optimal positions all the time). There's also an obvious hard spot in my back in a muscle.

I'm pretty sure the universe hates me. Our first apartment that we applied for was already leased out to someone. The second one that we just signed a lease for, the landlady just called us to let us know that she sold the place we wanna move in to. She didn't sign the lease yet, so I don't think it's legally binding and there's much we can do about the situation at this point. She offered another apartment of hers to us, but didn't give us any information on it other than that it was "close to the blue line" and honestly, I don't know if we WANT to rent from her if this is how she behaves. :/

Fix't

seriously, the only hardware differences between the 3gs and 4 were:
-crappy camera added onto the back
-slightly less crappy camera in front
-new wireless ic, adds 802.11n support
-new lcd
-added gyroscope

/takes issue with Apple's philosophy and culture

Seriously ready to punch a baby in the face :/

So, I work for a call center (VerizonWireless Prepaid) mmmk...Now we have our base pay, but have the potential to make bonus if we qualify by meeting certain goals, as in most call centers. Now, previously our bonus was based off our Quality Assurance department. They would listen to a couple calls a week and depending on the scores you get, you had the ability to make an extra 100-200+ per check. I used to DOMINATE quality and got used to have a sizable check every payday =w=

But now, they've changed it. We now bonus off after call surveys. So, if the customer didn't like us, we lose money. Not only that, but if they score us incorrectly, meaning; they were really just bitching about VZW and the score had nothing to do with us, they pressed the incorrect button, OR they were just pissed off because we don't give them unlimited service for free...our pay suffers.

Ok, so everyone was pissed off at first. I mean, fuck, I received four 0/10 scores already and they were all because people were pissed off at VZW's IVR or something, NOTHING TO DO WITH ME. But, we've come to cope with the fact that we'll be hurting on pay. We're doing our best to improve it, so we're working with that...

But NOW...now they've told us that if we get five 0 scores withing a 90 day period we can be terminated. WTF?! They wanted us to sign a document for it today but everyone on my team (save the old lady kiss up) refused. We've been waiting for a dispute process for the surveys for a while now but they have still yet to even come close to finalizing them. My supervisor "promised" that he would dispute them, but nowhere on the document they want us to sign does it mention a dispute process. So they're basically wanting us to agree with their easy means of termination and hope that their promises to save our jobs will work. Grreeaaattt....

On top of that, my new "supervisor" is a guy who was ON my team, was promoted to sup, and then sent back to my team to lead it. He's not a bad guy, but he has NO social skills. The entire meeting, he's yelling at us, makes us raise our hands before we can talk and shushs the fuck out of anyone who tries to speak out of turn. One of the girls was having a fucking panic attack after he yelled at her. This is a girl who is single handedly supporting her family of 4 and was just told that her job can be gone at anytime. Two girls have gone to HR, we've complained to other supervisors and our OM and I've told him to his face (in a friendly manner of course) why he gets so much bad feedback and how he can fix it. But...we're still not getting anywhere with him. It's kinda like if you were in 3rd grade and then you were told that Billy was going to be the new teacher. But it's like "Wait, a minute...but I got better scores Billy...and Billy is a horrible public speaker...I mean...he's a dick." But too bad, suck it. Billy is the new mother fuckin' teacher :/

Fucking classy.

My heart goes out to you Yue. Why anyone would think that phone survey ratings from angry customers would be a good measure of quality is beyond my level of comprehension. Moreover, it amazes me that anyone without any social ability or temper control was promoted into such a position, but it apparently happens. >_>' Most likely they just need a boot to the head.

Thanks Code <3 Well, Verizon switched over to their new "Be the Reason" business style. Which basically means that if you're not the reason the customer loves Verizon, then you shouldn't work here.

As for my boss...honestly, no one could've really saw it. He's not a bad guy and I was actually pretty good friends with him as a rep. Problem is, he was always really antisocial with most people, and we're finally seeing that it effects his ability to talk to anyone else.
Sadly, he would've been GREAT in our quality department because he knows our Quality standards almost as well as I do (and I'm one of the top reps at the callcenter in both speed and quality, well, when quality was still around) but he's just a horrible sup...

That's not a business style, that just sounds like a horrible idea and something that will quickly lose them people who actually get shit done and get customer problems sorted out instead of sucking dicks all day :/

I swear to god, the business world, ESPECIALLY when it comes to telecoms, is full of utter morons that don't even understand how to get things done and how to treat employees properly. Sadly the economic climate gives them all the more freedom to shaft and rotate employees in hard, relatively menial working positions as much as they want.

Sorry you have to put up with that Yue :< Hugs and all such.
