So I've been teamed up with four other students in my Afro-American History class to present a speech about Booker T. Washington's Atlanta Exposition Address. We split up the work, and I've been waiting for this one girl to email me her response to the question "Why do you think this document was written?"

Here's what she just emailed me:
Hey here's my response to my question.

Booker T. Washington

This speech is intended for both black and white audiences.
Not only did she answer the wrong question, she barely answered that question at all.

I thought she was one of the smart kids in the class too.

Argh, hate medical stuff.

Six years ago, almost to the week, chest pain made me go to the doctor and led to discovering an arrhythmia and having cardiac surgery.

Two weeks ago, I started having very similar pains and went to the doctor today. Yay new round of tests for this crap. I don't like being in doctors' offices (I spent way too much time in them as a little kid for various ear and sinus infections), and like hospitals even less. Not looking forward to this. :(

I'll pass the Valentine's day in the work all the day into a 36 hours turn. Thank you bosses, now I'll miss the chance to invite the crowd to party tomorrow

I feel like I live in this thread.

Today was hellish. I pride myself on being able to diffuse any bad customer. Anyone who comes up to my counter gets a smile, my undivided attention, and a satisfying purchase. 99 times out of 100, they leave with a "thank you" and a smile, even if they had to wait a long time, or we didn't have what they wanted, or they just came there pissed off for whatever reason.

So it really gets on my nerves when I am bending over backwards to accommodate a customer, even breaking a few minor rules in the process, and when my voice gets a little strained after I have had to tell this prick for the fourth goddamn time that our products are sold by weight and I have to weigh them up separately and print off a barcode before I can package them how he wants it, he has the nerve to tell me that he doesn't like my attitude.

FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE. I have spent all day plastering a fake smile on my face, pretending that I have the time to leisurely wait on you, when in reality I have rotisserie chickens to package, a rotisserie to clean, dishes to do, freight to put away, another customer waiting on hot food, two waiting on meat to be sliced, fryer food that needs to go into the hot holding, expired hot food needing to be thrown away, sandwiches and salads to make, both a meat and cheese slicer that are an hour overdue for cleaning, a hot island needing to be filled with food, and management has the goddamn gall to
LEAVE
ME
BY
MY-
FUCKING-
SELF

for an hour, expecting that I will do all of this somehow, while waiting on customers, including douchenozzles like you who are so picky that they hold up the line and all of these activities that need doing to the point where a manager comes up and complains at me with everyone's favorite, "It Has to Be Done," as if I can somehow use my fucking telekinesis and Jedi levitation to work five things simultaneously, and you're telling me that I have an attitude?

It would be 10 years if you include this one.

But my dog died a few days ago. :(

60 hour weeks while taking 14 credits is hard. Not sure how much longer I'll last; feel like I'm living in Animated's amv "Mateotis" :/
