I had to take our kitty (our 15 year old kitty) to the vet a couple of days ago. A wild dog tore her ear off (don't worry, the dog has been thrown off a cliff and into sharp spikes taken care of by the local pound, and while doing surgery (they ran some blood) they found cancer. Was originally going to post this in the vent on Tuesday, but I remained optimistic she would be ok and that we wouldn't have to put her down.

She is indeed ok now. Massively doped up, but back home and doing better. :3

Not much they can do for the cancer (the vet wasn't too worried about it), but we don't have to put her down until she gets worse (she's currently not in any pain/suffering, so no real reason to do so). We'll just have to keep an eye on her and take her for a regular checkup every now and then.

I had surgery to remove a rather huge tumor (19+cm and about 20lbs) and a couple smaller tumors from my belly.. I probably won't post the details on here, but lets just say I'm doing way better now. oh and not cancer.
