Before the end of 2011, I declared for me that 2012 would be the "Year of Music" due to the fact that one of my favorite bands, exist†trace, announced they would be touring and stopping by NY and it became the first time I got to see them live. Then another favorite of mine, Head Phones President, announced they would be performing on the 13th of Apr in my area and I got excited but unfortunately was unable to make it. But a day after, due to good luck and an open spot at a venue, they decided to put on a much smaller show on the 15th and I was able to go and see them perform. It was just as intense but so much more personal (not many times I can say the vocalist of a band walked up to me and intertwined her fingers in mine as she sang.)

Me with the band.
Stuff I got.
Year's not over yet though, Anza mentioned that another band I like, SoundWitch might be performing soon towards the end of the year, hopefully this comes to fruition since I couldn't make it to Tekkoshocon to see them. |:>

I don't care if this is the off topic donator's forum, I'm excited about an anime for maybe the first time in my life. This is strange and exciting.

You have no idea how much I wanted to type that in all caps.

Sorry about the redundancy and the double post, I'm just so excited that when I'm excited I become redundant, sorry.

Just wrote a 7 page paper in a few hours. Some days you got it and other days you dont.

Today I got it 8-)

it = Like a boss

Left me some spare time to get new car and motorcycle tags before going to school awwww yaaa. Why am I in a good mood about this? Cause I've been putting it off like its the dried up left overs in the back of the fridge to be cleaned. That and I don't want to be pulled over for it. :sweat:

Today = :awesome:

Tax season is now officially over. I am somewhat pleased about this.

Now for a lovely 8 months of basic bookkeeping, billing, payroll and just general "no stress" work issues. Gonna catch up on schooling too! I may have bitched about it a lot, but I am totally fine with 4 months of insanity for 8 months of peace and quiet. :up:

-------------

In more exciting personal news, I'm actually going for a Masters Degree now. I hadn't committed totally until today, so I didn't say anything quite yet, but I started the registration process today. I'm not taking them in a traditional way, but I'm going to be building up my classes until I have enough. (Basically I'm taking classes during Summer/Fall and going to skip Spring Seasons)

Long term investment with the hope of someday teaching (my original dream in life). It was a hard (and expensive) decision to make, but I think it will be worth it in the end.

Although my poor brain hates me right now. XD

Went to Goodwill with my best friend. I managed to find a cute shirt that was actually in my size and fit well, and then I also bought Running With Scissors for a couple bucks, because that book is fucking boss.

Oh, and I played Silent Hill 3 in HD. So. Pretty. :shock: (Hey, this is research for the design scheme of my future home, too. No joke. I have put serious thought into how to make bleeding walls happen for real!)

EDIT: also, just realized that ACen is in, like, ten days. Fuck yeah.

Last night I was sittin at the computer and a big mfker started crawling acrost the tile next to the sliding glas door. So basically after killing it and waiting till morning I declared war on anything with 8 legs in this house. Removed all spider webs and sprayed the hell out of that sliding glass door, apparently they love to come through those things. I'm in good mood because I finally delt with them.

AND

I'm claiming independence at the end of this month or next month moving into an apartment I've been lookin at. It's been a long time coming. Awww yaaa bitchessss

Just beat Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City! Now I don't have any reason to play it anymore! :awesome: I can give it back to whom I borrowed it from and live happily with the fact that I did not spend my money on it! |:>

Glad to hear that you weren't scared off by the big bad place known as the Org...come to think of it...I have noticed that we have mellowed out quite a bit recently. We should probably change that, go for darker themes, harder to figure out upload methods and general unnecessary snarkiness and pretentious assholery. :awesome:

Haha, not quite. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the community though (don't think any part of that has to do with me since I don't recall ever interacting with you before but good to hear that my peers are nice ol' chaps.)

As for me, I'm in a good mood because I finally unlocked the Quarian Infiltrator in ME3 Multiplayer (sabotaging Geth all day erry day). Although I've found it ironic that I've unlocked all the appearance options for every human class, both male and female, except for the ones that I actually use, Female Infiltrator (sadly this is one of my two main characters) and Female Vanguard.
