Re: The Happy Thread
Holy balls. All the pain, but feeling better now.
Kisanzi's brother came over and did some stretching on me. He's a professional trainer and he does this resistance stretching to help with injuries of all sorts. He was actually involved in a car accident earlier this year and was experiencing a lot of the same symptoms I've been having so he knew exactly what to do.
I hurt like hell the past couple days after it (just a lot of general soreness since it was crazy intense) but now that it's starting to go away I'm noticing my headaches, nausea, and vertigo aren't as bad. He said it'll come back as time goes on since it was just a single session and it needs to be a more regular thing I should do to really help it fully go away but I now understand why people pay this man a couple hundred dollars an hour for this treatment. I will I say that I was really skeptical and nervous going in but dayum. .-.
Now that I can actually move my arms again (the past two days basically consisted of me sitting on the couch, holding my 3DS at a low angle because using a PC, reaching, etc. was just NO) I really wanted to kind of spread the word.
If you're ever in Boston and you want a great place to go then I've got one hell of a reference for you

Re: The Happy Thread
So ever since the end of June I have had numbness and severe pain on the left side of my face, which has made me sick and prevented me from doing much with a computer including editing, watching videos, and getting to those reviews I owe people. I've seen three doctors, all being concerned I had an issue with my trigeminal nerve or possible growth in my facial bones. Went to an ENT and had a hearing test that came back actually 'better than perfect', which was great to know. I then went to a neurologist, had an MRI and x-rays done, and both came back negative and looking good. So ultimately everything is physically well with me and this will all eventually go away. (Downside is that I have to stick with a liquid diet for a while, but hey, I'm trying to lose weight anyway. )
Also, Thursday was my birthday. Went out with friends to Applebees, was embarrassed by the whole singing dessert thing, got presents, had fun. I am now the ripe old age of 26.

Having a Saturday off, I never have Saturdays off... I even splurged after work tonight and bought be a bottle of chocolate milk (cuz' I'm a child and I like chocolate milk it is delicious) and some honey mustard pretzel pieces so that tomorrow I can have snackage while I work on my amv... When I wake up in the morning it shall be a good day.
