Only 5 months into my job, 2 big departments want to promote and give me a raise in the next month or so granted I *only* do work for the department I chose.

Things are still being ironed out among the big-wigs, but the next few weeks should be interesting. Maybe I can make both Otakon and NDK!

My new PC build is finally complete! Installed the 2nd set of 8GB of RAM to bring it to a 16GB total. Installed the GPU (XFX Radeon 6870HD) and did some sucessfull tests with LOL, Pangya, and FF14 Benchmark. Finally bought a new keyboard and mouse (mine were 14 years old by now and in dire need of replacing) which fixed my power shot problem in pangya and the jerky scroll wheel issue. Still taking some getting used to for the keyboard since the \ key is right where I used to hit the shift normally (right shift is smaller then \i'm used too...)

Now I can game when I feel like gaming and edit when I feel like editing. But rather then game now I think I shall lazy on my couch and play SNES or watch the new BDs I got from netflix today....
