Greetings! if you don't mind me asking I know this is an old post but upon seeing you updated a new video and then I saw your profile.. it seems that curiosity has intrigued me something. you are vietnamese yet you reside in our country, with a chinese name.. so it begs the question at least on my end.. which language do you speak? is it only Vietnamese? or do you also speak Filipino? or Chinese dialect (hokkien).. or are you of vietnamese descent?... do you speak multiple languages?

Yes. Though my ethnicity is Vietnamese, my place of residence is with Philippines. I create this profile with my sister during family visit in Vietnam. We choose Chinese username since we very interested in east Asian history, literature, mythology. Despite living in Philippines, we never really speak Filipino language. With family and friends and in most situation we use Vietnamese and English as primary language. We do not speak Chinese, though some family members know a little bit Cantonese.

Hey everyone.

At some point last year, I was exposed to the renown "Auriga" AMV by Nostromo, and that has planted a seed within me. I thought AMVs were just these cringeworthy creations so that teenagers who like Naruto too much can vent their feelings of dejection and other connected emotions by linking a Linkin Park song with clips from the show. I genuinely did not know that there was such a thing as a good AMV, until last year, when I found Auriga, and now I feel sad that I've missed out on participating in this once great art community. Seeing the earlier posts from 2010 at the front of this thread is painful to my heart. I really miss that era of the internet. I wish I'd known the people who were here back then.

I checked out CrakTheSky's top 10 AMVs for 2021, and now, now I know that this is something I want to do. I think I'll have fun here.

Hi, I'm new to the forums. I've been making music videos for 10 years and honestly I'm hoping to go for another 10 more. Now that I've reached the age of 30, I realized something that echoed in my head from back when I was 18. I can remember my high school Digital Media teacher saying "I can see Earl doing animation for the rest of his life and enjoying it." I've strayed from the path of my passion a few times but now I am ready to hold strong to my promise and my dedication to the craft of video editing and video art.
