Sex never gave me AMV ideas. That just not how my process works. Sex has, however, helped with fiction, poetry, and song writing. Dunno if that counts as being on the original topic.

And I haven't had sex (or a significant other) since May 05. But I refuse to sleep with people unless I have a relationship with them. "Casual" sex is something I find personally irresponsible (for me. It works for others, just not me).

I might be one. There was this issue about how far it had to go to count in those days. I was like 12 or 13, so fuck if I know how far it actually went. He might know. But I can't remember what his name was.

Speaking from my own limited blurry experience, I'd say it depends on how good you and your partner are. If you both do your jobs right, neither of you is going to have the energy to move, let alone edit an amv. And if you actually think about amvs after sex I'd hope they're dedications to how sexy, lovable, or bad at the act the person lying next to you is. Otherwise it's just rude.

On the other hand, if you're two kids doing dumb stuff that may or may not qualify as sex, who knows what sort of ideas you'll get afterward. I think I spent the rest of the day working on a hentai story about a werewolf and blind girl, while sneaking half-smoked cigarette butts from my mom's ashtrays (because you were supposed to smoke after sex). I guess if I'd known about anime, I'd have bene editing a yaoi vid instead.
