I'm having one of the best weeks ever. Last weekend I went to a local convention and not only won best in show for a cosplay skit with my brother, but best in show/audience choice for my amvs, (where after we went to IHOP, which we don't have in our area). THEN, to my surprise and without knowing about it/being too lazy to keep updated, the Mass Effect extended cut came out. THEN Dawnguard came out for Skyrim, (which my mom drove me to go buy a microsoft points card when it was still 90+ degree at 9 p.m. and I had some really bad hip pain. Love my mom. ) THEN, out of the blue today, I found THESE at a supermarket we never usually go to...

...On the one day where I can have carbs on my diet.

And to date, I've lost at least twenty pounds on said diet.

Apparently my family has bought me a new computer for my home office as a graduation gift? I don't know what they bought me (they won't say, they say it's a surprise), they just said to expect a new computer in the mail by the 11th of July.

So here's an early "yay", contingent on what they bought me. :3

Tomorrow is my last day at my current job that I've been working at for the last 4 and a half years (technically I'm doing a halfday next week to help out but I won't count that). In a little over a week and a bit I'll start my new job which pays me more and gives me even more paid time off. Oh, and I have enough saved up to pay off my student debt in one payment (it'll wipe out my savings but at least I'll be debt free).

Oh, and I'm still losing weight (197 pounds now down from my original 238)

After the clusterfuck that was 2010, and 2011 being a fairly mediocre year, 2012 has been a blast for me so far.
